This position is responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in a specified region or, major geographical area, or specific market channel. The Filtration Sales Manager will work with current customers to ensure their satisfaction with AstenJohnson NonWoven's product and develop new customers to grow AstenJohnson NonWoven's sales. The Filtration Sales Manager will represent the Voice of the Customer at internal AstenJohnson NonWoven meetings.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manages account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targetsAssists with the planning of sales exhibitsAttends trade showsCoordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparationKeeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customersChecks on competitive activity and develops new methods in attaining new accountsTroubleshoots problems regarding products provided, answers questions, and handles complaintsAssists in production planning including product sales forecasts and inventory controlLeads and direct support team and appropriate departments in the implementation of sales and product strategyWhen necessary, assists in sales budgeting and planning, establishes sales goals and quotas and ensures accountability among sales personnel ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS: A process thinker seeking productivity and exceptional serviceStrong leadership skills and the ability to take initiativeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environment with a professional, positive attitudeSkilled negotiatorAdvanced computer skills including MS OfficeCreative problem-solving skills EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: At least 7-10 years of field sales experience Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience WORK ENVIRONMENT: Usual office working conditions50-75% travel will be required to maintain customer relationships and develop new accounts
