We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Node.js, js and Python frameworks. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, writing high-quality code, contributing to the design & implementation of scalable systems and supporting team members with collaborations.

What will your job look like?

Experience Required: 3–6 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Node.js frameworks and Python
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and fellow developers to understand requirements to deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality
• Contribute to the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems
• Follow Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
• Ability to solve complex software problems, ideate and take quick logical decisions

• Oversee software architecture and design decisions
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as needed

All you need is...

Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Javascript, Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js) and Python
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Express.js, Nest.js, Python’s FastAPI Framework or Django; Good to have working knowledge of javascript frameworks
• Databases: Strong knowledge of MySQL (RDBMS) ; familiarity with NoSQL systems is a plus; working knowledge of with ORMs e.g., Typeorm, Sequelize, SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
• API Development: Experience in designing, building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Version Control: Strong proficiency in Git and working with complex branching strategies
• Testing: Familiarity with any testing frameworks in Node.js e.g., Jest, Mocha etc.
• Linux & Networking: Understanding of linux environment, linux file systems, experience accessing and troubleshooting remote Linux servers via SSH/SFT.
• Architecture: Understanding of scalable, microservices-based architectures, SOLID Principles and Design Systems
• Containerization: Experience with of application containerization, Docker, Docker Compose
• Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of CI/CD pipelines
