The Global Finance PMI Analyst acts as the central point of contact and coordination within Finance Operations team for all Post-Merger Integration (PMI) activities. This role ensures seamless integration of acquired entities into the organization’s financial ecosystem, aligning processes, systems, compliance, and reporting standards with global policies while supporting value realization from the acquisition.
What will your job look like?
Strategic & Planning
• Serve as the Finance lead for PMI activities, ensuring alignment with the global integration strategy.
• Develop and execute the Finance integration roadmap in partnership with the PMI leaders.
• Identify key risks, dependencies, and opportunities for synergy realization in Finance-related areas.
Project & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary Finance liaison between PMI team management, acquired entity finance teams, and global Finance Operations Team.
• Coordinate across Procurement, PMI leaders, Treasury, IMIS and Finance Operations Team to ensure consistent integration.
• Ensure timely communication and updates to senior stakeholders on progress, challenges, escalations and resolutions.
Operational Integration
• Oversee migration and harmonization of Accounts Payable, T&E and Corporate cards programs.
• Support integration of ERP systems, financial tools, and reporting platforms, ensuring data consistency and compliance.
• Align internal controls, SOX/compliance requirements, and risk management practices across the combined entity during exceptional period.
• Facilitate transfer of knowledge, documentation, and processes between legacy and acquired teams.
Performance & Value Realization
• Monitor KPIs and report integration performance against defined milestones.
• Ensure continuity of finance operations and compliance throughout the integration period.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Finance operations.
• Proven experience in M&A or PMI projects.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities across global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
All you need is...
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of Finance experience in a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated involvement in post-merger integration or large-scale Finance transformation projects.
- Hands-on ERP/financial systems knowledge (SAP).
