In Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Facilities Security Expert to join our team at Amdocs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our workplace & employees in Cyprus and rest of Europe. As an EHS and Facilities Security Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive programs to maintain a safe and secure work environment working closely with site’s admins and coordinators and the global security & EHS teams complying with all relevant regulations and standards.
The position reports to the Europe Real Estate & Facility Manager.
What will your job look like?
1. Environmental Health and Safety:
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a safety culture and provide training programs for employees.
- Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, or near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
2. Facilities Security:
- Design and implement comprehensive security strategies for company facilities, including physical security measures and access control systems.
- Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to protect personnel, assets, and information.
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and oversee the deployment of security personnel.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
3. Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness for various scenarios such as fire, natural disasters, or security breaches.
- Conduct regular drills and training exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans.
Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure seamless collaboration during emergencies.

All you need is...

•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Security Management, or a related field.
•Proven experience in EHS and facilities security roles, preferably in a technology or telecommunications environment.
•In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Certification in relevant EHS and security disciplines (e.g., CIH, CSP, CPP) is a plus.- ISO14001 & ISO45001 experience - benefit
- Cyprus and EU regulatory H&S certifications – mandatory.
