In Brief

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Facilities Security Expert to join our team at Amdocs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our workplace & employees in Cyprus and rest of Europe. As an EHS and Facilities Security Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive programs to maintain a safe and secure work environment working closely with site’s admins and coordinators and the global security & EHS teams complying with all relevant regulations and standards.

The position reports to the Europe Real Estate & Facility Manager.

What will your job look like?

1. Environmental Health and Safety:

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a safety culture and provide training programs for employees.
• Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, or near misses, and recommend preventive measures.

2. Facilities Security:

• Design and implement comprehensive security strategies for company facilities, including physical security measures and access control systems.
• Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to protect personnel, assets, and information.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and oversee the deployment of security personnel.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

3. Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness for various scenarios such as fire, natural disasters, or security breaches.
• Conduct regular drills and training exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans.

Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure seamless collaboration during emergencies.

All you need is...

• •Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Security Management, or a related field.
  •Proven experience in EHS and facilities security roles, preferably in a technology or telecommunications environment.
  •In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •Certification in relevant EHS and security disciplines (e.g., CIH, CSP, CPP) is a plus.

  • ISO14001 & ISO45001 experience - benefit
  • Cyprus and EU regulatory H&S certifications – mandatory.
