The Performance Test Engineer focuses mainly on Test Strategy, Test Plan, Load Test Scenario Execution, Test Results Analysis, review Test Scripts Created for Amdocs CSM, CRM, OMS, Digital Portal, NativeApp, Cross Browser Performance Testing, NativeApp Load, measuring End User Experience and will be providing performance engineering optimization/tuning recommendations to improve End User Experience.

What will your job look like?

• Analyze Scope, do impact Analysis and create Test Plan.
• Regularly communicate with Customer about Non Functional Test Scope, Progress, Prioritization and Results Analysis.
• Review Non Functional Test Scripts using Loadrunner/Neoload/Akamai CT for Digital Web Portal and NativeApp.
• Executes Load Tests, Stress test, SOAK Test, Break Test and Cross Browser Performance Tests.
• Execute Amdocs Billing, Usage, End of Cycle processes and help in unblocking issues.
• Analyze Results, compare against SLAs, Benchmarks and Provide tuning recommendations to improve End User Experience both for Digital Web Portal and NativeApp.
• Reports discrepancies and analyzes them to determine the root causes. Evaluates script failures at a high level.
• Gathers and documents the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage. Ensures that data is accurate, timely and objective.
• Coordinates with Development and Infra teams/peers on the resolution of issues, overseeing the testing progress and ensuring that high standards of quality are being met.
• Contributes to the design of test scenarios and performs peer reviews of test cases.
• Identify scope, evaluate the need for Performance Testing.
• Participates in and contributes to internal design reviews of testing materials.
• Find opportunity to automate, improve existing process, & contribute towards innovation by doing POCs on latest technologies
  
  

All you need is...

Must Have Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience in Performance Engineering using HP LoadRunner and/or NeoLoad, and/or Akamai Cloud Test, HTTP/Web, Web Services protocol.
• 3- 5 years’ experience Monitoring tools Dynatrace/AppDynamics/microfocus Diagnostics/Introscope.
• Expert in developing test scripts, creating scenario, test execution and analysis using Loadrunner and any monitoring tool
• Knowledge of Web Page Optimization on browsers such as Safari, Chrome, ie11, edge and Firefox.
• Understanding of environment architecture and technology
  
  

Nice to have

• Expert in compiling, Analyzing and interpreting performance test results and provide recommendations especially perceived performance metrics.
• Ability to understand hardware and software architectures.
• UNIX/Linux experience (such as HP / IBM platforms)
• SQL knowledge
• At least one programming language knowledge such as Java/JavaScript/Python/C/C++.
• Should be ready to work in an environment which may demand individual contribution as well as a team player.

• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline using uDeploy/Jenkins
• Experience with Agile/DevOps performance Engineering methodology
