In one sentence

Responsible for products involving ARIC (Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and Collection) processes, you will design, develop, modify, debug, and/or maintain the ARIC product, working on one of the most important projects in the region for one of our main customers, with ARIC featuring a web-layer frontend with an external interface via API and a backend in C, utilizing Tuxedo services and batch jobs, along with development in the CRs we have with the account.

What will your job look like?

• You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
• Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.
• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• Work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
• Be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
  
  

All you need is...

• Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing
• Advance English proficiency
• Required:
  
  

Experience in writing software code in Java and C

Knowledge in SQL and database management

Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems

Understanding of API integration

• Preferred
  
  

Proficiency in shell scripting

Knowledge of COBOL programming.
