The Sourcing Manager is responsible for all business-related procurement activities that Amdocs performs with internal stakeholders and its suppliers that are under his / her responsibility in order to select the best supplier option, place a binding effective contract, optimize cost and realize savings.

What will your job look like?

  • Work Closely and conduct review meetings with business units' key stakeholders to learn their business needs, identify potential solutions and recommend the suitable procurement process to be followed.
  • Continuously develop and maintain a subject matter expertise of contingent workforce market trends and provide market analysis insights to support business decision making.
  • Lead and conduct procurement processes such as supplier sourcing, supplier due diligence, RFx management, supplier selection, contract negotiation, deal review, oversight contract execution and purchase order placement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with business process, company policy, regulations compliance and execution of business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contingent workforce suppliers to be positioned as support ongoing business needs.
  • Oversee the utilization and integration of contingent workforce to meet the business needs and successful delivery.
  • Report on procurement activity such as sourcing initiatives, competitive bids, supplier selection, contract negotiation status, deal closure and achieved cost efficiencies and savings.
  • Identify potential areas of business efficiency improvement, cost reduction opportunities or required risk mitigation solutions stiving to implement effectively and timely.

All you need is...

  • 7+ years of suitable procurement expertise.
  • Proven record in managing business relationships and third-party service businesses.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to contingent workforce.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multinational company environment within budget and time constraints.
  • Ability to manage multiple business needs and prioritize simultaneously procurement processes in various stages.
  • Experience in the telecommunications, information technology or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
