As a DevOps Specialist, you will design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions, support CI/CD pipelines, and lead DevOps best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

What will your job look like?

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions. Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and support deployment systems across cloud platforms.Follow Amdocs’ development standards and DevOps methodologies.
• Investigate issues in CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments. Debug and deliver fixes or workarounds, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Act as a subject matter expert in infrastructure architecture. Provide input on functional and non-functional system requirements and resolve complex issues independently.
• Guide and mentor DevOps engineers. Enforce best practices, code standards, and support team autonomy in delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Promote automation, efficiency, and reusability. Drive continuous improvements in the software lifecycle.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams. Participate in peer reviews and serve as the technical contact for issue resolution.
• Contribute to meeting SLAs and KPIs. Ensure timely delivery with focus on software quality and operational excellence.
• Support onboarding of new team members. Actively share knowledge and foster learning across the team.
  
  

All you need is...

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps), Git-based repositories (GitLab, Bitbucket), artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory), and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP. Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
• Proficiency with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Rancher, or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Nagios, and tracing tools like Zipkin/Jaeger.
• 4–5 years of scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Deep knowledge of the DevOps ecosystem, IT operations, TLS setup, load balancing, and designing highly available systems.
• 5–6 years in IT infrastructure, preferably in agile environments, with a proven track record in build, deployment, and monitoring of scalable systems.
