We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in big data technologies to join our cross-functional team. You will be instrumental in designing and optimizing data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for our cloud-native SaaS platform hosted on AWS and built on a microservices architecture.

What will your job look like?

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions using ClickHouse.
• Optimize query performance and data modeling for large-scale analytics workloads.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to integrate data solutions into the platform.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and code reviews.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure in production and non-production environments.
• Document best practices and mentor junior team members on data engineering principles.
  
  

All you need is...

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one columnar or distributed database (e.g., Clickhouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• 2+ years of experience in Python for data engineering tasks, including scripting, data transformation, and automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data modeling and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow, Spark, dbt).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices integration.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Basic Linux command-line skills and understanding of networking fundamentals.

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Exposure to secure data handling practices and compliance standards.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams across distributed locations.
