About the Role

Amdocs is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Solution Sales to elevate our solution architecture capability, lead a high-impact team, and strengthen our technology storytelling across key customer engagements. This role sits at the intersection of technology, sales, and strategy, requiring a leader with deep telecom domain expertise, strong technical understanding, and exceptional people leadership skills.

What Will Your Job Look Like

  • Lead and inspire a global team of solution sales professionals and solution architects, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer success and innovation.
  • Define and drive the solutioning strategy for strategic deals, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and Amdocs’ product capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Pre-sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to design and position customer-centric, scalable, and forward-looking solutions.
  • Act as the executive lead in customer engagements, articulating Amdocs’ value through compelling storytelling and deep industry knowledge.
  • Maintain and evolve a unified technology narrative that enhances how Amdocs solutions are positioned across customer touchpoints.
  • Build strong relationships with customer technology leaders (e.g., CTOs, Chief Architects), positioning Amdocs as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive internal collaboration and knowledge-sharing, ensuring best practices, methodologies, and work products are reused across the global team.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive movements, particularly within the network domain, to continuously shape the solution offering.
  • Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of talent within the Solution Sales organization, with a focus on leadership development and succession planning.
  • Own the definition and achievement of business KPIs and strategic growth targets for the solution sales function.

Required Skills

  • Significant experience in the telecommunications industry, with deep exposure to solution architecture, sales, or technology consulting.
  • Strong leadership experience, including direct management of solution sales/architecture teams, ideally in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Extensive experience in customer-facing engagements, solution design, and technical deal shaping within the telco network domain.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience contributing to sales/account management strategies.
  • Strong track record of leading large-scale, complex solutioning initiatives and winning strategic deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver compelling business/technology narratives to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • Experience in project planning, requirements analysis, and solution implementation across diverse platforms (cloud, software, network, digital services).
  • A natural collaborator and team builder with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.
