What will your job look like?

  • Monitor tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and escalations.
  • Respond to incident, involve in logging incidents, performing initial diagnostics, and attempting to resolve basic issues.
  • Provide feedback and suggests solutions, including operability perspective.
  • Identifies areas for automation in day to day operation
  • Follow software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies and release processes.
  • Actively participate in discussions related to products/applications/modules/team .
  • Enforce quality processes (such as performing technical root cause analysis and outlining corrective action for given problems), measures them and takes corrective actions in case of variances.
  • Provide hands-on technical and functional input to design, maintenance, integration and testing of complex software components according to functional and technical design specifications.

All you need is...

Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineering
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with ELK stack (Elastic Logstash and Kibana) including visualizations, dashboards , monitoring & Performance tuning\ troubleshooting of elastic cluster
  • Experience using cloud native messaging frameworks like ‎ Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, ‎and Agile project management tools such as Jira
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes (Specially kubtectl commands), Docker
  • Familiar with cloud native technologies and building DevOps pipelines – incorporating Kubernetes and the multitude of deployment pipeline tooling that supports it (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Helm, Harbor, Nexus Sonatype etc)
  • E xperience in Mobility/Wireless Line of Business in charging\billing would be a big plus.
  • Knowledge in Openstack platform & Cloud concepts would be a another added advantage
