Role Description
A trusted advisor to the unit's leadership team, provides leading business & operational support across the unit's functional teams to ensure that the business is running on the specified cadence to achieve defined goals. Ensures collaboration between the unit's functions. Facilitates and leads various internal projects/ strategic initiatives. The role require candidate to have Cloud certifications such as Azure certifications, AWS certifications
Key responsibilities
- Cloud Platform Proficiency: Expertise in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is crucial. This includes understanding cloud services, architecture, and best practices for deployment.
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Skills in using monitoring tools and analyzing metrics to ensure optimal performance and high availability of cloud services
- Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance frameworks, is vital to protect data and meet regulatory requirements.
- Create and implement cloud strategies that support the organization's objectives.
- Develop and execute plans for migrating applications and data to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions meet business needs
Operational Skills
- Incident Management and Problem Solving: Ability to develop incident response plans, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to maintain smooth cloud operations.
- Cost Management: Skills in optimizing cloud costs and managing budgets effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and leaders to facilitate the success of operational plans and business programs, ensuring that the business and operations of the unit (i.e. CSAT, Quality, Budget, Performance, Capacity, etc.) are running on the specified cadence and delivering on commitments (meeting expected quality, timelines, customer satisfaction and results).
- Interfaces between different functions in/across unit/s to identify and resolve significant and unique business issues, leveraging his/her understanding of strategic priorities. Extracts lessons learned. Provides an integrative view and analysis of various projects across units/ program(s), and raises areas of concern regarding possible deviations from projects'/ units' plans to help the unit's management team make effective and timely decisions.
- Leads the execution of various special projects/ task forces/ business improvement initiatives as requested by senior management. Represents the unit in organization-wide operations, projects and change management initiatives.
- Compiles information and results from different sources and provides reports and analyses across a range of topics when required. Serves as the right hand of senior management, preparing appropriate briefings and status reports, planning and developing content and/or facilitating staff / management / offsite meetings and/ or other group-wide meetings as required.
Critical Experiences
- Minimum of 12 years experience in project management, cloud operations
- Dealing in customer and negotiation skills
- Bilingual Japanese & English
- Have experience in working in onshore and offshore model
