Adtran is looking for a Junior Software Engineer with experience in TypeScript, Python, and AWS to join our team. You will work on Intellifi®, a cloud-based SaaS platform designed for internet service providers to manage, optimize, and monetize their services.
Our backend leverages AWS Lambda (TypeScript and Python), AWS IoT Core, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch, while the frontend is built with Angular. You will join a Scrum team based in Gdynia, Poland, focusing primarily on building and extending back-end services.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Implement new features and enhance existing software components.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for implemented modules.
Troubleshoot and fix software bugs across all testing phases.
Contribute to delivering incremental (bi-weekly) software releases.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of software development experience.
Knowledge of Python and Node.js/TypeScript.
Experience building microservices on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Fluency in Polish (C1) and communicative English (B2).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS IoT and large-scale AWS systems.
Knowledge of Wi-Fi and telecommunication technologies.
