As a Junior Software Engineer (Rust) you will be a member of a young and dynamic team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) products, including but not limited to the following: software product development, device and network layer software architecture, software test development, and post-release support.
Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) Product Unit is responsible for Adtran’s ALM series of fiber monitoring devices, which provide proactive fiber monitoring solutions which help network infrastructure operators to quickly isolate faults and take immediate targeted action.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Development and maintenance of AIM software products
Participate and collaborate in software architecture and design discussions
Design Proof-of-Concepts on forward-looking technologies for internal stakeholders
Desired qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related area
Proven programming skills in Rust programming language
Hands-on experience of REST-API development. Knowledge of SNMP is a plus
Willing to learn new programming languages and expand to other technologies
Motivated Team Player
Fluent in oral and written English
