Adtran is looking for an outstanding Front-end Software Engineer to work on its exciting new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product: Mosaic One. Mosaic One is a cloud-based system that aggregates information from many management and orchestration platforms, broadband access, and consumer in-home devices to produce helpful, targeted workflows for our users and AI-driven insights that ensure our customers’ success.
The Software Engineer will be a member of a full-stack team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Adtran products including but not limited to the following: application development, system software architecture, software test development, and customer assistance.
Your primary responsibilities within this role
Design and development of Mosaic One SaaS web client built in Angular, TypeScript and Angular Material.
Perform or assist in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new modules and enhancements to existing software.
Document the design including feature definition and user workflows.
Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews.
Plan and perform unit and system-level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements.
Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.
Qualifications that will help you succeed in their role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience in developing modern, front-end applications with a solid understanding of full-stack architecture.
Proficient in Angular and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of component-based architecture, reactive programming, and Angular CLI.
Hands-on experience using Jest and Cypress for unit and end-to-end testing in Angular applications.
Familiarity with Nx monorepo architecture for scalable, modular development.
Skilled in integrating with REST APIs, including request/response handling, error management, and performance optimization.
A great team player—open, proactive, and dependable, with a passion for clean code, quality, and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
Experience with Python
Experience with cloud deployments such as AWS
Experience developing and deploying large-scale applications.
Experience with wireframing GUI designs (e.g. using Figma).
