We are currently looking for a highly motivated (Senior) FPGA Engineer (M/F/D) to join our R&D team in Meiningen, Munich or Berlin, Germany or Gdynia, Poland. Tasks and responsibilities

• Realization of TDM processes by developing complex digital circuits in the FPGA
• Creation of system concepts, their implementation and testing
• Support and further development of existing systems

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or similar
• Knowledge about the structure and functionality of modern FPGAs, FPGA-Design-Flow (VHDL, Synthesis, Simulation, Test) and the handling of design tools (Vivado, Quartus, QuestaSim)
• Knowledge about digital and analogue circuits
• Experience with transmission protocols in telecommunications, standards
• Be familiar with verification concepts and formal verification as well as microcontroller circuits and programming (C, C++)
• Knowledge about optical signal transmission (lasers, EDFAs, optical waveguides)
• Good teamwork skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Regular travels to Meiningen

Aufgaben

• Kenntnisse im Aufbau und der Funktionalität moderner FPGAs, im FPGA-Design-Flow (VHDL, Synthese, Simulation, Test) sowie im Umgang mit Designwerkzeugen (Vivado, Quartus, QuestaSim)
• Kenntnisse über digitale und analoge Schaltungen
• Erfahrung mit Übertragungsprotokollen in der Telekommunikation, Normen
• Erfahrung mit Verifikationskonzepten und formaler Verifikation sowie Mikrokontroller-Schaltungen und -Programmierung (C, C++)
• Kenntnisse in optischer Signalübertragung (Laser, EDFAs, Lichtwellenleiter)
• Teamfähigkeit
• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Regelmäßige Reisen nach Meiningen
