Principle duties and essential functions

• Definition, development and evaluation of high-speed hardware like OTDR technology

• Product concept development and product specification

• Component selection, qualification and support of CAD library element creation

• Creation of schematics and PCB designs including creation of PCB production and assembly data

• Alignment with PCB manufacturer and contract manufacturer for PCB assembly

• Module bring-up and support of FPGA, software integration and module test

• Documentation of design and test/qualification results

• Planning and management of development projects

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar

• Good knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and simulation

• Experience with Mentor design and simulation tools (DxDesigner, Expedition, Hyperlynx) would be an advantage

• Knowledge about VHDL and FPGA would be an advantage

• Team player and self-motivated person

• Well-organized, focused on solution finding

• Strong communication skills

• Good English and German language skills

Aufgaben

• Definition, Entwicklung und Qualifizierung von HF-Baugruppen, wie z.B. OTDR-basierte Messtechnik

• Inbetriebnahme der Baugruppen und Unterstützung bei FPGA, Software Integration und Test

• Dokumentation des Designs und der Test- bzw. Qualifizierungsergebnisse

• Planung und Leitung von Entwicklungsprojekten

Anforderungen

• Hochschulabschluss in Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik/Elektronik, Physik o.ä.

• Gute Kenntnisse des analogen und digitalen Schaltungsentwurfs und der Simulation

• Erfahrung mit Mentor-CAD-Programmen (DxDesigner, Expedition, Hyperlynx) von Vorteil

• Erfahrungen bzgl. VHDL and FPGA sind wünschenswert

• Teamfähigkeit und Eigeninitiative

• Strukturiertes und lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten
