Senior Software Developer (Modelling and Simulation)
Job Description

The Software Developer (M&S) must perform tasks which may include, but is not limited to:
- Investigating applicable technologies and standards;
- System design;
- Trainer architecture design;
- Software development;
- System integration;
- Validation, verification and system testing;
- Delivery and installation of systems.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics OR must have a recognized College Technical Diploma related to Information Technology, Software Development, or Computer Science
- Have a Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP) certificate, or has an industry equivalent certification
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in an applicable field of software development
- Minimum 4 years experience performing the role of a Software Developer in a modeling and simulation environment
- Experience deriving functional requirements in a modeling and simulation environment
- Experience designing simulation software in a modeling and simulation environment
- Experience programming graphics using OpenGL, QT or equivalent product
- Experience developing add-ons, extensions, or plug-ins
- Experience designing, coding and testing using C++, C, or C# programming languages
- Experience integrating and testing software
- Experience investigating software products for use and integration into M&S applications
- Generated test plans and procedures as well as written test reports in a “modeling and simulation environment
- Experience working in one or more project taskings which utilized the Agile development process
- Experience working in one or more project taskings which developed products for the Military Domain
- Experience utilizing and configuring CGF applications in one or more project taskings
- Developed and integrated software with Unity, Unreal, Unigine, Delta3D, or equivalent simulation game engines in one or more project taskings
- Developed applications which interoperate with the specified protocols and standards in one or more project taskings
