Adecco is currently recruiting for a for a Bilingual Senior Knowledge Management Consultant 2-year On-site contract opportunity in with possibility of extension. This role is with our Crown corporation client based in downtown Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.
Bilingual Senior Knowledge Management Consultant will have the following responsibilities:

• Developing, planning strategies and processes to transfer explicit and tacit knowledge across multiple information management tools such a document correspondence tracker and MS SharePoint sites in various environments including retrieval of critical archived information from existing environments.

• Facilitating knowledge creation, sharing and reuse of information through coaching and training incumbents on the Canadian Army HQ information management tools built in MS SharePoint and MS 365 environments

• Developing partnerships and alliances, designing creative knowledge spaces, and using incentive structures within the existing Canadian Army HQ ACIMS (MS SharePoint 2016) environment and the MS 365 SharePoint online and TEAMS environments.

• Designing, developing, and sustaining communities of interest and practice with co-chairing the monthly Canadian Army HQ Information Management committee.

• Creating, developing, and sustaining the flow of knowledge, policies and standards for the ACIMS (MS SharePoint 2016) and M365 SharePoint online environment for Canadian Army HQ.

• Developing knowledge taxonomies, facilitating knowledge audits, and performing knowledge mapping and needs assessments.

• Capturing, evaluating, and using best-known practices to transfer best practices to information management processes and procedures within Canadian Army HQ.

• Consulting on each group (directorate) specific work processes and procedures and developing solutions within Canadian Army HQ.

• Managing change knowledge initiatives.

• Providing group problem solving and decision making.

• Providing strategic or participatory planning for current and future knowledge management projects.

Bilingual Senior Knowledge Management Consultant must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 36 months of combined demonstrated experience, within the past 120 months, in providing coaching on knowledge management within - Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and Microsoft 365 SharePoint/SharePoint Online platforms are acceptable;

• Must have a minimum of 36 months of demonstrated experience, within the past 120 months, in the development of policies and standards with the use of Faceted Information Classification System (FICS) and Army Consolidated Information Management Systems (ACIMS) within a Microsoft SharePoint* environment;

• Must have a minimum of 36 months of combined demonstrated experience, within the past 120 months, in developing and implementing strategies for each of the following:

  • Knowledge Management

  • Document Management

  • Records Management (e.g. Workflows)

• Strategies can include building solutions in tools such as workflows that follow knowledge management procedures.

• Must have a minimum of 36 months of combined demonstrated experience, within the past 120 months, designing creative knowledge spaces*, that follow established organizational/corporate knowledge management policies and standards, within:

  • a Microsoft SharePoint** environment. and/or

  • a Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint environment
