Adecco is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a day shift position.

In this role, you will report directly to our client's Production Manager and be responsible for producing high-quality products. This hands-on position allows you to work independently and showcase your skills. As part of a small team of technical experts, you must be dedicated, an effective communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Build high-quality electromechanical assemblies

• Read through process documentation, bills of materials (BOM), drawings and electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly of our products

• Perform high-quality soldering using soldering tools, microscope, and other equipment

• Collaborate within a fast-paced team environment to drive process improvements and cross-training initiatives.

• Work with the Research and Development department on new product introductions and contribute to the design of manufacturing (DFM) initiatives

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• 3-5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment

• Mechanical and electronics assembly experience

• Highly competent in the use of assembly tools, crimping tools, automated equipment, multimeters, with good hand-eye coordination for small sensitive components

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Experience in working with optics is preferred

• Demonstrated experience with fine soldering and high-precision work

• IPC-A-610 and J-Standard certification would be a strong asset

• Proficient with computers as well as the capability to learn various programs a must

• Well organized, team player with good communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
